I wanted to try this set to see if it’s good and if I should gift it. It came packaged so much better than expected. The product doesn’t work like it’s price. It’s well beyond expectations and has the feel of Estee Lauder’s super-pomegranate. Definitely getting more as gifts!

I picked up this 6 piece rice skincare set as a little treat for my mom because she loves trying natural feeling products, and rice based stuff always seems gentle and hydrating. She’s been using it for a few weeks now, and she keeps telling me how much she likes it. The whole kit feels complete with everything you need. Cleanser, toner, essence, lotion, face cream, and eye cream.Everything has this light, fresh scent that’s not overpowering, and the textures are nice. Creamy but absorb quick without feeling greasy. My mom says her skin feels softer and more moisturized, especially in the mornings, and the eye cream has helped with a bit of dryness around her eyes. She’s in her 60s, so anything that keeps things hydrated and smooth is a win.The packaging is pretty too. Simple bottles in a gift ready box, which made it easy to wrap up. No fancy stuff, just straightforward and effective. She’s already gone through a good chunk of the toner because she uses it twice a day.Overall, it’s been a really nice gift. She looks forward to her routine now, and her skin looks happier. Great for anyone wanting a simple, gentle rice infused set!

I’m mixed on this skin set. I love the serum, the cream, and the eye cream from this set. I find they absorb really quickly and they make my skin feel moisturized at a deep level, however they don’t seem to moisture the top layer of my skin and it looks dull and a bit dry after using. I still enjoy using these 3 products but I have to add additional moisture using toners and top layer moisturizers afterwards in order to get a plump, shiny look. These may be better suited for my skin in the summer when it’s not so dry.As for the other products, I find the toner is ok. It doesn’t seem to add much if any moisture but it absorbs fast. The lotion is useless, maybe this would work for really oily skin in the summer, but if you have dry skin I’d skip it entirely.Lastly my least favorite product: the cleanser. It’s terrible. Incredibly drying, full of fragrance or something of sorts that burns my skin to no end and leaves my skin dry as a cactus. It also doesn’t effectively remove makeup! I have to use makeup remover beforehand which I don’t normally need to do with my usual cleanser. The packaging for it is also terrible as it’s just a spout that drips out like crazy and is hard to gauge and limit the amount that squeeze out.So all in all I think for the sale price of $32 this set is an ok introductory to see what will work for your skin or not but I wouldn’t necessarily recommend it. They have good size samples of everything except the serum which is way too small imo, but if you have dry skin I recommend looking elsewhere for moisture. This would probably work best for a teenager with oily skin. My sensitive skin breaksout with ingredients that irritate it and none of these ingredients broke me out.
