Slow to absorb and dry
This face serum is a clear, very pale green, with absolutely no scent. It’s just thick enough that it won’t run down your face as you apply it, but easily spreads across the skin. I have experienced no irritation from using this… and I do have very sensitive skin. After applying, in my experience, it leaves a tacky feeling on my skin for around 10 minutes while it absorbs/dries. It is just okay for me because of these things. However, if as I use the bottle, I do actually see my pores shrinking… I wouldn’t let a little tackiness stop me from getting it again.

The HAPA KRISTIN Face Serum has been so helpful for my oily skin and enlarged pores. It’s lightweight and absorbs quickly without leaving residue. My skin feels smoother and more balanced, and the niacinamide really helps calm redness. I use it both morning and night, and it layers well under sunscreen or moisturizer. The subtle herbal scent gives it a spa-like feel.

Very much like this product. It’s gentle, effective, and I do notice an effect on my pores when used with a good skin care system. I like to tell my clients that a witch’s potion has many enchanted ingredients; meaning, no one thing is going to do the magic on its own, but if you use a variety of quality products, you’ll see results given time and commitment.The ingredients list is a really nice mix of skin texture boosters. For the price point, this definitely makes an affordable addition to any skin brightening/pore tightening routine. It’s on the thin side for a serum, so 4 or 5 drops is all I need for my face and neck. It’s great to have the option to use this when I take some time off from retinol, and I appreciate that it has niacinamide in the mix as well since I usually use a separate niacinamide serum, so I am able to skip that step too.I’ve dermarolled with this before and it’s worked very well, and I like that it leaves a very light veil on my skin that dries to a slight tackiness (not quite stickiness), which works well for helping my next product “grab” onto the skin. This does not leave my skin feeling dry, greasy, or unpleasant in any way, and I definitely appreciate the results I get when I use it. Recommended for sure.

Broke me out
Sadly, this serum broke me out pretty fast. I’ve used other niacinamide serums without that reaction, so it could have something to do with the carrier or the other additives. It did seem to improve the look of my pores before the breakout, and I think the texture is nice, but I can’t recommend it for other people with sensitive/acne prone skin based on my experience.I also found the overall look/feel to be a bit cheap. It’s a plastic bottle, and nothing feels particularly sturdy or high quality. If you don’t have sensitive skin it might be worth a try, but for me, it was a miss.

Good serum
I wanted to try this serum because I wanted to address my pores. I’ve only been using this serum for a week, so this review will not reflect its long term efficacy. This serum is thin in texture. Do not apply too much or your skin will feel tacky. I apply two pea-size drops on my face after my toner. It feels nice and smooth while applying on my skin and it’s absorbed quickly. It leaves my skin feeling hydrated, but not greasy. It has a mild scent that doesn’t bother my sensitive nose. As with most skincare products, it takes months of consistent use to see results. I will update this review after a few months of use. Only time will tell if this serum will help improve the appearance of my pores, but so far I like how it’s working on my skin.

Lovely serum for aging skin!
As my skin matures, I have noticed challenges related to enlarged pores and maintaining balanced moisture levels in my combination skin without excessive oiliness. Additionally, the necessity of daily sun protection, especially in warm environments, can lead to trapped perspiration within my pores, which occasionally results in mild blemishes. I have experimented with various toners, including both prescription and over-the-counter options, with limited success. Recently, I ordered a 1oz sized bottle of this HAPA KRISTIN serum. This serum is formulated to cleanse pores and reduce their size while controlling excess sebum production. Its advanced, skin-friendly formula contains high-quality ingredients such as Bakuchiol, niacinamides, Centella Asiatica Extract, Atractylodes Rhizome Extract, 4-Terpineol, LHA, Bifida, and Witch Hazel. I have been applying it with gentle cotton pads at bedtime over the past week, and I have experienced no irritation. The serum is non-drying, leaving my skin feeling hydrated, with a noticeable tightening of the pores on my nose, and it provides a refreshing, cool sensation. I appreciate that it is specifically designed to purify and invigorate both oily and combination skin while maintaining the skin’s natural pH balance. Based on my experience, I would confidently rate this Korean skincare pore cleansing serum by HAPA KRISTIN as a five-star product.

Nice serum, but contains erythritol.
I chose this because it’s Korean skin care and I have been very satisfied with products from korea.This serum comes in a nice glass bottle with a glass applicator. The serum is thick but not gummy, it goes on easily and feel slightly sticky but is quickly absorbed. At least my skin feeling moisturized and refreshed.There are a lot of ingredients, too many for me to list. Many are natural, some I am not sure of, but it states the key ingredients are witch hazel, water, bakuchiol, niacinamide, xylitol, erythritol, centella asiatica extract, houttuynia cornstarch extract, and 4-terpineol. Tbh, I am not sure what most of those are, although erythritol is something that I studiously avoid ingesting. Not sure that I like the fact that it’s in this product.Made in Korea. Received 7/25, expiration 4/28.
