Solid Smart Scale with Lots of Data Insights
This is the smart scale if you like to track lots of data! The user experience has been good and multiple family members have connected and can track their metrics in their own app. The key to use is tracking the trends, as with all of these scales that rely on Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis (BIA), the numbers can vary depending on your hydration level. I have seen my metabolic age go up by 2 years on days after intense worksouts and sauna due to hydration change (but it does keep me more aware of when I need to drink more!). The product is built well, and as I saw other note, the only thing that is minor is that the handle cable does require you to pull up during retraction to fully retract. Overall, I am happy and believe it gave the most results and generally good reviews for the cost.

Amazing but not for me.
Easy to connect to the app, easy to understand, easy to use. Allows for multiple users and offers both a general reading and a more detailed analysis. Charts progress and suggests lifestyle adaptations to meet your goals.I’m returning it.Listen, all of those numbers need to MEAN SOMETHING to you. I am not a health expert or someone who enjoys research. I’m just a random 56 year old lady who spent a year consistently going to the gym and was feeling pretty good about myself so I splurged on this.“Was” is the operative word. Now I’m obsessing about my “slightly fat” body and trying to figure out how it all settled in my knees. I have slightly fat knees? I’m overcome with hopelessness and eating a stick of butter. I don’t think this information is anything I need. But if this is what you’re looking for, it’s brilliant.

Great Purchase
I love this scale. It’s easy to use and sync to my phone through the app. It provides a ton of detailed information that seems to be fairly accurate when compared to the results I received on a similar scale at my doctor’s office. We have multiple users and have not experienced any issues. So far, the battery charge has lasted several weeks. I appreciate the value when compared to similar scales. The overall quality is good and ‘m happy with my purchase.

Great for the price and fun metrics
Really cool item if you are looking to track metrics. It seems to be very accurate with weight tracking and the display and connection is working so far. Setup is super simple and you can add others to the app so everyone can track. Only thing is you have to have the phone the app is installed to next to the scale while you are weighing yourself. Size fits perfect in bathroom. For the price against some of the other much expensive ones seems fair.

Accurate body composition data that finally lines up with DEXA.. UI needs work, but results matter
I purchased the Renpho Morphoscan Nova after comparing results from multiple body composition tools, including a recent DEXA scan (see the first image), and I’ve been very impressed with the accuracy of the metrics it provides (see the second image from Renpho). Body fat percentage, lean mass, and overall trends were remarkably close to my DEXA results, far more so than any consumer device I’ve used previously. For context, I originally owned the Hume Body Pod, and while its app experience was significantly better, more polished, intuitive, and refined, the actual body composition numbers were consistently off when compared against DEXA. In contrast, the Renpho may not win any UX awards, but the data itself is much more trustworthy, which is ultimately what matters most to me.The Renpho app feels a bit clunky and less intuitive, with room for improvement in navigation and presentation. That said, once you get used to it, it does the job. Given how closely the readings align with a gold-standard DEXA scan, I’m more than willing to overlook the less refined user experience. If you care more about accurate body composition tracking than flashy visuals or a slick app, this is an excellent device. For anyone serious about tracking real progress over time, the accuracy alone makes it worth it.Bottom line is that, at least in my experience, the Renpho has superior accuracy compared to competitors, validated against DEXA. App needs refinement but results don’t lie.

CAUTION: BODY COMP SCALES ARE A SCAM
CAUTION: BODY COMP SCALES ARE A SCAMThis technology is inherently flawed. The technology used in this scale is called bioelectrical impedance analysis, or BIA for short. It’s not actually measuring muscle mass and fat tissue and skeletal tissue. It sends a small current through your hands and down into your feet, measuring the amount of time it takes for that current to cycle through and then it makes an estimate based on that timing. It’s entirely reliant upon algorithms that are written for the widest range of people. I’ve seen many companies make claims that the daily accuracy is not what you should be looking at but rather the trends. I’ve also seen them make claims that this scale or another scale is within 96% accuracy of a DEXA scan (the gold standard in medical grade body composition technology). The problem with that is, all this scale does is measure hydration and weight. It can’t legitimately tell you how much muscle you have let alone how much muscle you have in each of your arms, each of your legs and in your trunk. If you drink less water the day before your morning scan, you’re going to get different readings. It doesn’t matter how much you work out, how clean your protein is, how low fat your diet is, etc.If this was a $50 or $75 scale, I wouldn’t care too much. They’re charging $200 plus for this scale because of its added features, but those features are just a marketing ploy.Pros: It has a pretty report with seemingly extensive metrics.Cons: All of the metrics except the weight is BS.Save your money, get a basic scale and if you’re on a life-altering health journey like myself, focus on your performance gains and your daily routines.Stay away from the gimmicks. It’s all marketing, smoke and mirrors.

Been using this for approx 3 weeks now and very impressed with it. We have 2 profiles set up and it works flawlessly in synching and tracking your measurements over these weeks. The app is slick and has a pleasant interface. Well worth the money and a definite recommendation from me.

Pros:- Simple to use (and connect)- Accurate (for weight – I can’t actually ‘test’ the others, but they do show consistent values)- Reliable quality (I think I’m more at fault for my other one kicking it)- Great API integration with other services (ie, Samsung Health, Google Fit, etc)- A degree of onboard memory, and multi-person profiles! (Profiles handled in App, but say someone else uses it – it will prompt you on who to assign the weight values to).If you want a good companion for your weight loss, look no further. And, frankly, it kind of helps, too. There’s something sort of game-like about the numbers on screen, along with trends, history, and full notes if you want to log something. But for my bad habits of binging junk food from time to time, it’s seen me through losing 100lbs, so it’s definitely a helpful thing to have.I’ve had a prior iteration of the Renpho for eons now, and it just works. It’s accurate (at least for weight, being the only thing I can really ‘test’) and even improves the one prior deficiency of the other – it includes its own rechargeable battery!Really, the whole thing can be summarized like Apple’s motto: ‘it just works’Connection is easy, operation is idiot simple, and if you opt for the rechargeable version, you can even just use a basic USB battery bank! That’ll keep it going for years – it already has an impressive standby time.Obviously, you gotta put in the work to get the results, but if you want to do it scientifically and effectively, a smart scale like this will be a powerful ally. Also great to let you know if you’re lapsing! You can also take some real satisfaction – if that’s your motive as it was mine – in seeing how far you’ve come. It’s surprisingly good motivation!Otherwise, my one tip:It’s work, if you want to lose weight, it’s work. There is no miracle and no quickfix. BUT you can do it – it’s a battle, but it’s a cumulative one. Even if you lose just a bit a day, it’s going to show before long. My strong suggestion, if you find yourself struggling with the exercise component: block out the time. Whatever you do, it’s your thing you gotta do – and once you’re at it, that’s 90% of the struggle dealt with. I get on every day, first thing I do. If I miss, I get on when I can. Something that can help is serialized media – find a show you die for, and promise yourself at least one episode a day. No watching it doing anything else.Worked for me, might work for you. I hope it helps – but if nothing else, I can say having a good log of it to understand where I was and what I had to do is a very powerful ally – and that’s one you can simply buy, for less than $40ish dollars! You won’t regret it! Unless… you really let loose, but hey, at least you’ll have something nagging you!If you’re like me, and you want to lose some pounds – just keep at it. You’ll get there – it’s a war, not a battle, you don’t lose because you messed up once. Good luck!To everyone at a healthier weight – try to keep it! This scale has value for you too!

looks sturdy, and no problems to connect with the app – good buy.only negative was that it is not shipped from UAE and it took a long time for delivery

From Singapore and I received what I ordered 2-3 days after I ordered. it works really well and I am measuring my body composition and is happy to see minor improvement in my body fats and muscle mass everyday. It’s a great help looking back at the data comparing to the data 2 weeks ago!
