This item arrived quickly, securely packed, undamaged & as described.Honestly I was a little skeeved out before deciding to palace this order since I was put off by the idea of putting snail goop on my face.Secondly being an animal rights activist I wasn’t sure how it was harvested.However after some research I was relieved to learn that the mucin is gathered by the snails doing their own thing while gliding across screens allowing for the collection the product.That being said I was still wasnt feeling the idea of placing it on my face due to where it comes from.However being in my mid 50’s & wanting to maintain a youthful appearance vanity took precedence.I’m sure knowing that alone will be the driving factor for many in my age group who value their appearance.As an Amazon “Vine reviewer”, I pride myself on providing consumers with unbiased ,accurate & concise information,in my opinion this product is a winner. I’ve paid triple for other snail mucin products but at this price point you can’t really beat it. It absorbs relatively quickly quickly and it definitely moisturizes.

Difference in texture & moisture effects
I have used 2 other brands before this and I didn’t think there would be a lot of difference – but there is. I used the COSRX (which was good) and a lesser-known brand (also good and cheaper) so I thought I would try this for even cheaper pricing. It’s not *bad* but there is a difference in texture and results. This doesn’t have the “coating” and moisturizing effect that the others had. I could tell right away about the texture. As far as the moisturizing, I could tell as soon as this dried on my skin. It didn’t have the lasting moisture and it was more like a water-based serum than mucin.

It’s an okay serum. I use it for my night-time skin care ritual. It does not have the quality I am looking for though.
