Easy To Use Red Light Therapy Mask
I’ve been using red light therapy for years, and I do believe it has wonderfully rejuvenating benefits for the body. This mask makes it easy and affordable to do a facial treatment at home. I’m not a spa or salon person because I always feel like I’m wasting my time, and I’d much rather do things myself than have someone else do it for me. I can use this mask while I’m working on my computer or winding down at the end of the day. The light is directed at my face and contained in the mask, so it doesn’t disturb my husband in bed beside me, though I have to deal with his Friday the 13th jokes, lol!The mask is comfortable and fits well, with protective eye pads that prevent light from entering your eyes. It’s very easy to use and offers 4 adjustable-intensity treatment modes. The mask’s straps are adjustable, and the open-ear design allows me to wear my glasses over it. There is also an extra strap that goes over the top of your head for an even more secure fit, but I didn’t need it.The only downside for me is the chemical or plastic odor, which must be from the silicone. I’m very sensitive to smells, so others might not find it to be as offensive. I wiped it down and am leaving it to air out; hopefully, it will help. I can deal with the smell for 15 minutes, anyhow. And you can’t use it while it’s charging, which isn’t a big deal, but just be aware of that.It’s not overly heavy for a silicone mask. The lights are very futuristic, cool-looking, red, blue, and purple. Comes with a charging cable. A very convenient way to get effective red light therapy at your convenience in the privacy of your own home. Value priced, at less than the cost of some single spa treatments.

Bit of self-care, though with a few grievances!
I’ve been curious about red light therapy for a while, so I was happy to finally try one of these masks at home, I’m a bit too self conscious to get it done anywhere or wear it around anyone else. Right out of the box, there is a noticeable plastic/silicone smell, but it does fade after airing out for a day or two and isn’t really a bother once you’re using it. The mask itself is soft, flexible, and not too heavy, so wearing it for a 15-20 min session is pretty comfortable… mostly. It does run quite long, so if you have a smaller or rounder face like me, the nose hole may sit right on your upper lip and the mouth hole sits closer to your chin (a bit silly looking, but the lights still mostly reach where they need to). The eye guards however are wonderful, soft little silicone pads that genuinely block the light, so you can keep your eyes open to read or scroll your phone while it does its thing. You get 4 light modes (red, blue, near-infrared, and a red+blue combo) and each has 3 brightness levels, so you can mix and match based on what you’re targeting; I appreciate the variety, as I don’t always want the same setting. The remote/battery pack is rechargeable and comes with its own USB-C cord, but no wall plug is included, which is a bit of a head tilt for an $80 product, but most of us have a few of these laying around anyway. The cord is also juuust long enough to be annoying; if you try to walk around while wearing the mask, it will absolutely catch on something, so I tend to just sit with it on instead. The straps are adjustable with an extra over-the-head strap for a more secure fit, but the velcro is generous to the point that it loooves to catch in my hair if I’m not careful (a big pet peeve for me admittedly).As far as actual results go, it’s a bit too early to say much about wrinkles or skin tone, but I’ve had no irritation so far, and I do enjoy the little wind-down ritual at the end of the day. (I don’t always get to it, but it’s pleasant enough.) For around $80, it’s a reasonable price point compared to fancier brand-name versions, but the fit is going to be the deciding factor for a lot of people. It’s easy enough to use overall.
