Clean label glandular supplement, but capsules are not tiny
This Nutricost adrenal glandular supplement is pretty straightforward. The bottle has 90 capsules, and each serving has 350 mg of bovine adrenal cortex. I like that the label is simple and that it is listed as GMO-free and gluten-free. It also feels more convenient than powders or liquid supplements because there is no mixing.The capsules are easy to add into a regular supplement routine. I did not notice a strong smell from the bottle, which is always nice with glandular products. The packaging is basic but practical, and the serving information is clear enough. I also appreciate that it is made in an NSF certified, GMP compliant, FDA registered facility, since that gives a little more confidence in the manufacturing side.I gave it 4 stars mainly because the capsules are not super small. They are manageable with water, but people who dislike swallowing capsules may notice the size. Helpful for stress for me
I had to look up exactly what this supplement is used for as there isn’t much info on the page. For me, the stress management is the bit I have noticed the most. With perimenopause, I felt like I was always on edge and waiting for the next stressful thing to happen, even when nothing stressful WAS happening. I had a hard time relaxing and I noticed my waist getting bigger and bigger, even when my weight stayed the same. I used the entire bottle of the supplement and it did help me feel much calmer. I was able to get out and move more, I think do to being able to relax and focus on other things than just my tensed up muscles and also a little energy boost. Looking into Nutricost, they seem to be a solid supplement company. They test all of their supplements and they are US based from what I can tell. That makes me feel better about what I am consuming. The pills are high quality. I had no issue swallowing. You only take one a day, so it is easy to add into your day. This is a 90 day supply, so the value for my money is excellent. I didn’t notice any side effects at all. The calmness it has brought me and the extra energy make this an effective supplement for my lifestyle. This is one I would recommend.

I bought some NutriCost Chamomile over a year ago and was immediately impressed by the quality of their products. Since then, I’ve tried their Rosemary extract, BioCell Collagen, these Adrenal Glandular capsules and I have another of their products on the way. This company is seriously fantastic – they sell quality supplements at a great price. I love that they have a big manufacturing plant in Vineyard, Utah – it’s GMP-compliant and FDA-registered.Now, as to this particular supplement: I’ve been working on my adrenal system for years now through diet and exercise; I cut out caffeine and sugar; I don’t smoke and almost never drink alcohol anymore. Been working on my sleep problems that I’ve had for decades, use RLT and went through a few years of CBT to manage stress and anxiety. I thought I’d try Bovine Adrenal Cortex to see if it can help in stress management and energy levels. When things go haywire, my stress goes through the roof and, since I already generally don’t sleep well, my cortisol spikes constantly and wreaks havoc on everything: my mood, my weight, my sleep, my skin, you name it. Bovine adrenal cortex is thought to support healthy cortisol levels and help fight fatigue, and I’m all for it. Life is a crazy ride, and having a healthy adrenal system makes everything easier to deal with.These are easy-to-swallow capsules, and so far I haven’t had any tummy upset. I think it’s too early to see marked changes, but slow and steady wins the race.
