Halts & Diminishes Acne Growth
Stops the growth before it gets ugly. This is a real benefit for me when it comes to fighting new breakouts. I have mature combination skin, but I still, on occasion suffer from those nasty breakouts. Just happened the other day. This arrived the perfect time for me to honestly check this out. I had two small breakouts in different locations. After cleansing my face, I loaded up each spot with this gel. No, you do not use this over your entire face like some sort of a moisture cream. Just concentrate it where you are having problems. What I did was dab a blob on each spot. It’s only going to hold only so much, so you might need to pat the spot a couple times with this gel. Just let it sit and it goes to work right away. If the spot is a bit more troublesome, you might want to reapply several times throughout your day. This worked for me like a charm!Within a day, the painful feeling when touching was gone. The reddishness started to fade and the actual growing aspect stopped. No uncomfortable feelings from this at all. No stinging nor tautness. It’s not sticky and there is no smell to this. Goes on clear and won’t cake up on you, so you don’t see anything at all while using. Now as far as a much more troublesome cystic outbreak, I doubt that it will do much, but I can’t speak to that. Always worth a try though, especially if you get it early on.Only a very small amount is used at a time which is why this smaller tube is sufficient for most users. At the price of $14.97 (today’s price) for a 0.5 ounce tube, it’s well worth the cost for the ease of use and relief this provides. Suitable for all skin types and adults of all age ranges.

The world of Vitamin A products can be confusing nowadays with all the OTC and RX options, I grew up using Adapalene and it’s still a staple for gentle acne care in my routine.Now this is a small tube of Adapalene and whether it’s cost effective to be buying OTC or going to the Dr for Rx’s that may or may not be covered by insurance is up to you.I don’t use Adapalene full time, but as needed for random acne breakouts, so it’s nice to have this on hand or easily accessible without a doctor’s visit. The Neutrogena formula doesn’t seem much different from any other name brand or generics, and works just as well. It’s a lightweight gel that doesn’t further irritate my pores or clog them more. Good price, trusted brand, I I trust Neutrogena more than some random RX generic brand my pharmacy will dispense that I’ve not heard of.

Cleared up teenage daughter’s pimple with just two applications. Not drying/irritating.
I selected this Neutrogena acne gel for my teenage daughter who gets the occasional pimple. I am a longtime fan of Neutrogena, but my daughter was under the mistaken impression that it was a brand mostly for older women. I encouraged her to give this a try and she was really pleased that she did. She applied it directly to a pimple and left it on overnight. By morning the pimple was almost gone and was fully gone with a second application. The gel did not at all dry out or irritate her “normal” skin, and she said that it absorbed well without leaving a greasy residue. Though the tube is small, very little is needed for spot application. I consider it fairly priced at $15 and would purchase it for her in the future.

Good quality adapalene gel
I appreciate that I can get adapalene without a prescription these days and have two nearly empty tubes from other brands.When I first saw this tube I was surprised at how small it was, but when I compared it to my other tubes, they each are the same volume tube, but the other two are long and skinny; this is thicker.I use tretinoin typically for anti aging, but when I have a random spot of acne I use this and it works well to clear me up faster.This is a nice gel, it seems to have a little more body than my other adapalene options do, and it absorbs into my skin very quickly.I don’t think it’s more effective than the other brands, one of which is generic, but I like and trust the Neutrogena name, having grown up using their products.

Knocks back blemishes quickly
This retinoid spot treatment has been a surprising hit in my skin care routine. I don’t get too many blemishes anymore, but when I do, this seems to knock them down pretty quickly. It’s important to note that with any retinoid-based product, wearing sunscreen is a must. This is a reasonably strong formula which is why it’s so effective, but that also means you can’t skip sunscreen even on cloudy days. If you are new to retinoid-based products, I would recommend using this sparingly otherwise you can dry out your skin quickly.
