FIT KING CORDLESS BOOTS … FABULOUS!
These compression air boots are wonderful!! As someone who has had lymphedema for over 10 years …. don’t hesitate to get these. I use them in the morning and early evening for 20 minute sessions! Exercise regularly and my lymphedema is controlled. This cordless model takes 30 seconds to put on, charge lasts 6 days. So easy, you do it!!! Great product!!

The best
The compression is very good. I’ve used them 10 times without recharging. I’m recharging now because I don’t want them to go dead. Very convenient. Recommend.

Customizable leg compression with strong pressure options
This is a fantastic pair of leg compression boots for anyone who spends a lot of time on their feet. It takes a few minutes for each boot to fill up with air completely when first using it, and the instructions say to charge for 2.5 hours before the first use. They also say to look for the tag to tell you which leg to put each on, but knowing the controls go to the outside is an easier way to keep them straight, I think. One frustration is the controls are upside down when you look down at the buttons. I suppose if you have someone helping you that’s a good thing, but I had to learn the settings as they appear upside down rather than how they appear in the instructions. You get several 20 minute sessions out of each charge, and the light will blink red if the battery is getting low. There are 3 modes and 6 levels of air compression – depending on the size of your leg, you might not feel comfortable beyond level 3 as it gets more powerful with each level. Using this at level 3 on one leg and level 1 on the other, I don’t feel a huge difference but I like level 3 as it’s more pronounced. I found level 4 was a bit uncomfortable, and I would not want to try 5 or 6.Modes: Mode 1 is a sequence of the lower air chamber then upper air chamber while the lower releases, then both release. Mode 2 is for circulation, starting compression in the lower leg then moving upward while maintaining lower compression, then releasing. Mode 3 sequences the first two modes alternately. The program automatically turns off after 20 minutes of use. Each boot comes up to just below my knees and there is plenty of space for my toes – the tip of the boot is open. I’m using this in the evenings after a day of work (I walk a lot in low heels) or after doing yard work or hiking on weekends, and it’s very relaxing to use these boots in bed while I work on my laptop. After using these boots, my legs feel a bit tingly and very relaxed! This set comes with a storage bag, two zip up compression boots, charger, cable and instructions. I was concerned about fitting the boots back into the carrying case, but it is big enough to handle the boots and quick start guide and charger, even if there’s some air still in the chambers. I’ve seen similar leg compression massagers for a lot more – this is a decent price!

Fantastic recovery aid, and likely helps reduce DVT risk elsewhere as well
Having now accumulated a considerable inventory of artificial joints in recognition of a life spent abusing them, I am all too familiar with the risks of DVTs and embolism, but that became very much more real recently when I experienced something called a saddle PE. Suffice it to say that the ER doctors couldn’t believe I survived. So that’s my bias.Following my first hip replacement my best friend offered to send me one of these that his wife had been sent home with following hers. I’m in the most recently defiled, again, VA system, where they spare every expense to provide the absolute minimum cost of care, while not giving a whit about actual patient health. All part of our new “Golden Age”, but I digressI declined the kind offer, and fortunately, thanks to the less intrusive intervention method used by my community care providing surgeon (that’s someone from outside the VA system, fwiw) my recovery was swift and without a hitch. Then came another, and then my first knee, and you get the pictureI also come from a family of apparently thick blooded vikings and huns, so my subsequent recovery included a pair of something similar to these, but the ones used in the hospital struck me as barely noticeable when in use, except that is for the myriad rats’ nest of tubes and wires everywhere that were constantly confounding me every time ai tried to get to the bathroom. So I was glad to leave them behind when I left, even though the sense of their intended impact did make sense to me.Jumping forward to most recently and I saw these pop up as an algorithmic suggestion just for me (AI is great, but it creeps me out all the same). Wow, what a difference!Read the directions, which were short, sweet and very easy to follow and understand. Hooked up the very well thought out charger (and make sure that’s the only wayvthat you ever charge them, which is their repeated warning). The charger is a small wall wart with an accompanying USB connecting cable that splits into two USB-C cables, one for each sock, and they attach to the bottom of the small control unit on each. They recommend at least a 2.5 hour initial charge, but I let mine go overnight. There is a battery condition indicator on each, and a charge indicator light, so that part of the process is all pretty much dummy proof. The next part however is where these really came to outshine and embarrass the hospital units, whichbI’ve zero doubt costvthe facility many times what a pair of these run.The hospital brand had Velcro straps everywhere, and if I had been recovering from a hip replacement, there is absolutely no way that would ever be able to get them on or off without assistance. These, on the other hand, wrre a model if industrial and ergonomic design genius. They are somewhat preformed to follow the natural bend between your foot and calf at rest, so you unzip it as far as it will go, slip your foot in and grab the zipper, pulling it up and you’re on to the next one. It literally takes less time to don these than you’ll spend reading this paragraph. Each is clearly labeled for Right and Left leg, and the controls are made for impatient patients like me; hit the power button on each, choose your massage mode with a second button, and then your intensity level with a third. You’ll immediately feel the internal compressors begin to fill the void between your leg and the device the same way a blood pressure cuff expands, but this doesn’t get that tight. They do get tight enough however, and it’s recommended that you start at the lowest intensity setting until you get used to how it all feels, so I immediately put it on high of course. The massage was great, but the middle setting turns out to be the best for me, and the noise level from the pumps is practically nil. Actually, that too was an improvement over what the hospital had.Now they do warn nit to walk in these, but at least you can if an emergency trip to the latrine arises. Just hit the power button and it deflates, but to be perfectly honest, they’re so easy and quick to get on and off that there’s really no need to even contemplate that. These will run for 20 minutes at a time, and you can run them while they are plugged in and charging, but the coolest worry free part to me is that you can keep tirningbthem back on as many times as you like without hurting them or yourself. That said, the most ai’ve run them is for three consecutive sessions, but normally these are powerful enough that justvonecsession on the middle intensity setting works fine for me. Not that it’s a good thing, because being sedentary is what’ll kill you quicker than hope, but at least now when I sit down to watch some TV I’m not consumed with anxiety about getting up to another PE. That was seriously scary, so although I received these gratis through the Amazon Vine program, I would have gladly purchased a pair had I known they were even available to me, especially at this price.
