Product is made in the USA and is wonderful!
Wow, this product is a HUGE win for me. I don’t have acne, but my jaw line breaks out during certain times in my cycle, and I like to use an SA face wash the week before to prepare my skin. This is exactly what I was looking for, and exceeded my expectations.The product itself is SO thick and rich. The face wash is clear, which at first glance looked like it might take a lot of product to get the effectiveness I was looking for. I have found that clear based products just tend to be a bit more diluted than cream based, but I was completely wrong in this case. The face wash is THICK and concentrated. I put a pea sized amount between my fingers and I was having trouble getting it to lather because it was so thick and rich! I got the product to lather so well by using my Clairsonic face wash brush. I think that the vibration of my brush helped with adding friction in a way that I was having trouble doing it with my fingers on my face. The lather is unreal. Thick, bubbly, and smooth. It is luxury in a bottle.The face wash is TRULY fragrance free. As in there is no smell whatsoever. How many times have you used a product that says fragrance free, only for it to have it’s own scent? Also, even though this has a mighty 2% salicylic acid in it and is super effective at attacking breakouts, I feel like it’s gentle enough to be used every day on sensitive skin. This product is also proudly made in the USA and I LOVE using USA made products because of because I feel more confident in the regulations, ingredient standards, and transparency of the product. Major win all around, and I’m off to explore more products by this company!

Curology 2% Salicylic Acid Face Wash for Acne Prone Skin
At some point in time, I felt like I’ve tried just about every consistency of cleanser out there. Ultimately, regardless of the thickness of the product, once wet and lathered, they were all about the same. Not so with this cleanser. This cleanser is a similar consistency to liquid soap, but once it gets wet, it lathers minimally and almost becomes lotion like in color and consistency. There is not enough rubbing you could do to lessen how thick this product becomes once water is added to the mix. When I say it coats your hands and then your face when you use it, I mean it’s like taking a handful of lotion and slathering your face with it. The texture truly takes some getting used to because it’s unlike anything I’ve ever experienced with a facial cleanser before. It feels HEAVY when applied to the skin and takes some effort (many more rinses than with most cleansers) to wash away the product, making it a little less easy to use than others that I’ve tried, but…I don’t mind it. The cleanser doesn’t cause excess oil production in my oily skin, it doesn’t leave my skin feeling dry after rinsing like a lot of cleansers tend to do, and it feels refreshing to use. I’d just recommend using less than you think you need because a little goes a very long way. I see this bottle lasting at least a couple of months. Overall, this product has managed to make my skin feel good, I haven’t experienced any breakouts while using it and I’m very happy with it. I would gladly order this product again.

Face cleanser that really helps clear up acnec without irritation
It’s hard to find a face wash for acne prone skin that treats the acne and doesn’t strip it. This lightweight face wash does a remarkable job of cleansing my face and resolving my breakouts without drying it and making it feel soft and moisturized afterwards.My acne has been cleared up significantly by this face wash. It effectively removes makeup and dirt from my face and my skin isn’t left red or overly tight.This cleanser lives up to its claims and I really am happy to have it as a part of my skincare routine. It’s a good value.

Gentle and foamy salicylic acid cleanser that smells like nothing, hooray
This is such a gentle but effective cleanser, I love it. And when they say it’s fragrance free, that doesn’t necessarily mean it doesn’t smell like anything, it just means they didn’t add any perfumes or smelly stuff (where “unscented” means they add stuff to make it smell like nothing). But this cleanser truly doesn’t smell like anything, and it makes it so much more pleasant to use.The gel is colorless and completely translucent and pure looking, too. It doesn’t take much to make a lather. It does a really good job of removing grease. My face isn’t all that greasy so as a test I decided to cover my arm with the greasiest overnight foot mask I have and then use this wash to see if it would break down the grease the way dish soap would and it totally worked. It rinses more easily than dish soap, of course.Note that this contains 2% salicylic acid. You may want to do your own research as far as how often you should use 2% salicylic acid. I also recommend you use a moisturizer after you use a cleanser such as this one, gentle as it is.

clears up my skin fast
I get acne at certain times of the month and this is fantastic, it’s very gentle on my skin and it clears up any breakouts that I get within a day or two. I love that it’s non drying and it actually moisturizes my skin, I always follow up with a a little bit of toner and very lightweight moisturizer.I have heard of this brand for a long time and I was excited to try it, I appreciate the gentleness and the straightforward ingredients. I did not experience any redness or skin sensitivity after using which is nice because my skin can sometimes be overly sensitive to new products. The price is a little high for me but considering I only use it once a month for about a week or so it’ll last me a very long time and I think it’s a good value for the money.
