Very Effective
I’ve had the Recoverex Cold Plunge for about 3 weeks now and have had an opportunity to use it daily.Pros:* Setup: It actually arrived earlier than the shipping estimate suggested and setup took about an hour once I got everything out of the boxes.* Cooling: Living in Miami, I thought it would struggle to cool the water to the temperature I’m looking for (41 degrees F), but have it scheduled to start cooling about 3 hours before I want to jump in and it’s at the perfect temperature for me.* Mobile App: With the mobile app, I can control it very easily and I can’t imagine having one that wan’t wifi enabled.* Documentation: Their documentation is clear and helpful. It explains setup, take down, water care, and regular maintenance.* Chemicals: They provide you with plenty of the chemicals necessary to keep your water clear. They do suggest you go to their website if you need more chemicals, but the website is clearly not up and running.* Cover: The cover is great because the buckles are lockable, which is great for a guy with kids. Its nice to know my little ones can’t accidentally climb in to the tub.Con:* Filter: Their documentation suggests I look for a diagram to know when to change the filter but, unfortunately, I cannot find this diagram. With only one filter included, its difficult to know what exactly to do there.

No Longer Perfectly Perfect
Update:It’s now been 4 months. Two weeks ago I noticed that the water level was dropping. I spotted some water puddling under the unit. I assumed it was one of the connections or filters, so I tightened everything. The pudding has increased to the point where I can see a stream of puddles running across my colony. Now, when I run the chiller, you can clearly see water dripping from the bottom and three different locations. It could be one leak that’s just hitting the lower pan and then soaking out through wherever it can. I have tried to figure out how to reach the seller but can’t. I’m writing this review with the hope that they will reach out to me.I’m including a video on a picture of the problem. Hopefully this can be resolved as the unit is completely unusable at this time.I cannot speak to the reliability of this system as I’ve only had it a week, but it has been absolutely perfect so far. With the help of a friend, we had this baby up and running within an hour. The tub was surprisingly easy to pump up. I have used it almost every day. Just did a plunge with 3 guests. It’s just excellent. The app works seamlessly. I couldn’t ask for a better experience.Update: 6 plus weeks in and this unit has worked perfectly since day one. It’s exactly as advertised. I would buy it again without hesitation.Update 3/4/26: my unit had an issue and I couldn’t figure out how to get a hold of the seller. That was entirely my fault because he even had his personal cell phone number in the owners manual which I didn’t think to look for. Danny, the owner, figured out how to contact me. And help me troubleshoot the problem and fix it. The reviews that people write about how great his services are not overstated he’s one of the few people that genuinely cares about making sure his customers are happy. When I purchased this cold plunge, there was a note that said if any issues, please call the owner directly. I did not set up the cold plunge correctly and I called the owner Danny on a Sunday afternoon. He answered immediately and he walked me through the entire process, which took about two hours. I really do appreciate the time, effort, and customer service he provided. It was very unexpected, but greatly appreciated! Truly, this is one of the best cold plunges that I’ve purchased and I’ve bought many. This is a great product and anybody that’s serious about their health and fitness should invest the money and buy this.
