Dermatologist recommended magnesium flakes
I bought this after reading an article about how Epsom salt is man-made chemicals not a natural substance that I have believed for many years. Instead it was recommended that magnesium flakes were natural minerals with the healing effects that I thought I had been getting all along from the fake alternative. I just tried these for the first time as an addition to soak in my bath. The flakes dissolved easily and the water felt soft. I don’t yet have any long-term opinion on this product but I am hopeful.

Ancient Oasis by Dr Teal’s Magnesium Flakes
These magnesium flakes are very easy to use. Simply measure it out and put it in the tub before running the warm or hot water into the tub. It dissolves very well and doesn’t leave any residue in the tub. I love the fact that it is a natural product and that no scent is added because many other products drive my allergies crazy while this one does not. This product makes the water feel soft and silky and makes my bath extremely relaxing for my muscles. I suggest that you experiment with the amount you use since it depends on how much water you use for your bath as to how much you will need to get your desired results.

Ahhhhhh, this is the life! Relaxing on the patio, having a magnesium foot soak on a beautiful spring day. I love these magnesium flakes. 100 percent magnesium, nothing added. Cruelty free and vegan. I have sensitive skin and I’m also sensitive to magnesium because of deficiency but I’m on a journey to build up a tolerance. The flakes are a good size and easy to measure out. It doesn’t clump together. I’m only using a tablespoon for now and that seems to be the magic amount for me, it’s very soothing and no itching or burning. I have many issues with my feet and this really helps the aches. This is a quality product and a good value. the bag has a velcro type closure, which is awesome. It’s easy to open and close and stays securely closed.

Great for DIY magnesium oil sprays and lotions.
I ran out of the magnesium oil lotion that I use on my feet before bed to relax me, and help me sleep better. It was sold as a set, the lotion and the magnesium oil spray. It is no longer available and in the first place it was difficult enough to find a fragrance-free kit like that.Magnesium “oil” is not an oil, rather it is magnesium flakes dissolved in water. You can easily find out how on the internet. I made up magnesium oil spray much cheaper than I could have bought it. If you will be making a magnesium oil lotion, ask specifically how to make a lotion so that it does not separate.This is magnesium chloride, not epsom salts which are magnesium sulfate, however the flakes are great to add to a soothing relaxing bath.

I ordered these magnesium flakes specifically to use in my foot soak, and they’ve been a nice addition to my self-care routine.👍 Pros-Dissolve nicely in warm water without leaving a gritty residue-Fragrance-free, which is great for sensitive skin-Magnesium flakes are a good size-Resealable Velcro bag is easy to open & close and keeps moisture out-Good value at $6.87 at the time of this review👎 Cons-NoneOverall, I’ve enjoyed using these for foot soaks and appreciate that they’re simple, unscented, and easy to incorporate into my routine. Goodness flakes
Good for putting in the bathtub and taking a soak for sore muscles. Decent value for good quality magnesium flakes. Helps soothe sore muscles. Did you know most people are magnesium deficient? Especially athletes do people who work outside in the hot sun. Electrolyte drinks only go so far. Chances are if muscles are cramping need magnesium and this is a good way to get it.There is no smell to these flakes and they add no color to bath water.
