Snail mucin serums or creams are something I have added into my daily skin care routine over a year ago as I love the moisture boost they give my skin.The texture of this serum is more gel-like than watery. It has an easy to dispense and easy to apply consistency.It seems to soak into my skin quickly and without any stickiness.It also works well with any other serums, oils or creams I add to my face.This also contains glycerin, hyaluronic acid, niacinamide and panthenol which have all worked together to make my skin feel very soft and moisturized.My skin is a little sensitive and I’ve never experienced any redness, irritation or breakouts from this serum and I use it every day.While the scent isn’t overbearing, it does smell a little too much like a men’s aftershave to me. The scent disappears very quickly so it’s not a deal breaker. But I do prefer citrus or other fruity scents in my skin care products.On a positive note, this serum is cruelty-free. Since I discovered there are some mucin extraction and collection methods that are not cruelty-free, this has become an important consideration for me.Despite the scent not being my personal favourite, I still consider this to be a 5 star mucin based serum with a very high percentage of snail mucin filtrate and beneficial added ingredients.
