Great budget red light mask
I have an older red light mask from GRAART as well as a high end one from SpaceTouch that retails for over $400. The old GRAART was fine, but it just laid flat against your face and some areas were closer to your skin than others, it was totally fine for the price, though. When I was offered this upgraded version, I almost didn’t take it because I didn’t need it, but I’m super glad that I did, because they have greatly improved the design and I think I actually prefer this one to the SpaceTouch, which is a hard shelled mask.First off, the eye cups on this one are much more comfortable and I can see out of it while I’m using it. I used to be worried about if red light might damage my eyes but apparently it’s not dangerous, although NIR can cause retinal burns if you just stare at it since it’s invisible and doesn’t trigger a blink reflex. Fortunately, none of these masks operate without visible light as well and they’re not pointed directly into your eyes, so I think they’re safe on that front.I used this for the first time yesterday immediately after it arrived. It was easy to attach the straps and they were comfortable to wear, as was the mask itself. I used it on clean skin because it seems that is the most recommended way to use red light therapy, although some folks recommend using it after serums, the light can reflect off of products that are on your skin rather than penetrating like it does with clean skin. I didn’t experience any irritation and I felt like my skin looked nice and bright afterwards, but that could be a placebo effect, since consistency is key with any skincare.I like that this mask folds so that it treats the underside of your chin; at this point the only advantage of my SpaceTouch is that it treats my neck as well, but the battery life on it sucks. This one came partially charged and lasted all the way through 30 minutes of treatment on the lowest setting with no issues. It doesn’t operate while it’s charging, unfortunately, so you need to plan ahead an make sure the mask is charged before you use it. It has a single wire that comes off of it and connects to the battery, which has buttons for different settings and which you can keep in your pocket if you want to do other things during your red light treatment.I also love that this one is pink! It’s definitely a budget choice but I think it’s going to be my go-to mask, even over my SpaceTouch, simply because it’s more comfortable and allows me to multitask while doing red light treatment thanks to the eye holes and how comfortable the eye cups are.

Easy to assemble and operate, time will tell if it’s effective
This is my first and only red light device; I’d read about them but hadn’t gotten around to trying one. Other reviews for this item offer some comparisons with similar devices at various price points. I’m just speaking to my experience with this specific item.This ships in a pretty nice package, which feels fairly premium. It ships mostly flat, which surprised me; I thought it would be rigid but it’s really flexible. So it takes a few minutes to assemble the eyepieces and straps, after which it looks pretty odd because it’s still *flat*. But once you strap it on it bends around your face easily and is fairly comfortable to wear– much more so than you’d think looking at it.The lights themselves are intense. Like really intense! There are multiple settings, multiple colors, a timer, and other options so while it’s easy to put together and test by intuition, you’ll want to consult the manual for how to select between all these options. Once it’s on, it’s bright; you aren’t going to be doing a lot of other things (like reading) while using it. Probably best to keep your eyes closed in fact. There’s of course no heat generated by the LEDs, so other than the brilliant light spilling out from the sides you wouldn’t know it’s on.The mask it lightweight and comfortable. It’s fairly heavy foam material, so should be relatively durable. Whether or not “red light therapy” actually *does* anything is going to require experimentation though; while I’ve used it daily for about a week there’s no evident change. However, most sources online seat it takes many weeks or months of use to see any effect, so time will tell.This feels like a fair value at this price point, especially since other models can cost 3-5x as much. Are they better? I don’t own one so can’t tell, but if the point is red light exposure this will do the job.

Relaxing easy to use skincare tool
I’ve been using this red light therapy mask for a few weeks now, and it honestly feels like bringing a mini spa treatment into my routine, the biggest thing I noticed is how relaxing it is, you just put it on, sit back, and let it do its thing,I like that it has multiple light modes (red, blue, and infrared), so I can switch depending on what my skin needs, the red light seems to help with overall glow and texture, while the blue light is nice when I’m dealing with breakouts, from what I’ve read, these wavelengths are meant to support collagen and calm inflammation, which lines up with what I’ve been seeing so far,the cordless design is a big plus,I can move around or just relax without being stuck in one spot, it’s also lightweight enough that it doesn’t feel like a chore to use, that said, results aren’t instant, you definitely have to be consistent to notice a difference, and the fit around the nose/jaw could be a little better, but over time, my skin does look a bit smoother and brighter, not a miracle overnight fix, but a really nice, low effort addition if you want gradual skin improvements and a more relaxed skincare routine.
