Price is amazing for the weight scale. Works like a charm and it is rechargeable! I highly recommend it for anyone. Smart scale as well! You won’t be disappointed. I guarantee it. I bought three of them. Two were battery powered and the new one is a plug in chargeable .The weight is scale is so right on!

Accurate, Sleek Smart Scale with Helpful App Features
The RENPHO Smart Scale (Elis 1) has been a great addition for tracking weight and body composition at home. The 11-inch size provides enough space to stand comfortably, and the slim black design looks clean and modern in the bathroom. It feels sturdy and well-built without being too heavy.Setup was quick, and pairing with the smartphone app was straightforward. The scale measures multiple body metrics beyond just weight, which is helpful for monitoring overall progress. Readings appear quickly and seem consistent and accurate across repeated measurements.The Type-C rechargeable battery is convenient and eliminates the need for disposable batteries. The display is easy to read, and the scale automatically turns on when stepped on, making it simple to use daily. Overall, it’s a reliable smart scale that combines accuracy, useful tracking features, and a sleek design.

DO NOT USE ATHLETE MODE
I do CrossFit 4-5 times a week, about 1-2 hours of work out. I was excited to own my first scale that measure body fat and skeletal muscle mass. The set up pretty easy, took me about 5-10 mins. App was easy to use and understand. Now I know that usually it’s best to measure your weight right when you wake up, before drinking water or showering. So I did that. Here is my experience.I measured my weight at 5 AM in the morning right when I got off of the bed. I noticed when I first set up the app the night before, that the app asked if I want to turned on the athlete mode. So I did, given that my workout seems to fit into their athlete mode (which is if you work out more than 3 times a week for 2 hours). The athele mode gave me a VERY optimistic result. I had 20% of body fat percentage with almost 70lbs of skeletal muscle mass. Previously, my fittest body fat percentage was 21%, but I was 10lbs lighter in overall body weight and although I currently feel pretty fit, I was at another level then. So I went to my crossfit gym right away (at this point 5:30AM) and used their InBody scale which has 98% of accuracy rate. The number through the InBody and Renpho’s number on Athlete mode was by vastly different. It turned out, Renpho gave me 12 lbs lower in body fat mass than InBody, 10 lbs more in skeletal muscle mass and 9% less body fat percentage.Then right after I got back home, I tried the renpho scale again, but this time WITHOUT the athelete mode on. This proved to be more accurate with only 3 lbs difference in body fat mass, 1% off in body fat percentage and 3 lbs difference in skeletal muscle mass. Hence I gave 4 stars, instead of 5.So, as long as we use the scale without athelete mode, then it’s pretty good I would say. It’s light, looks trendy and easy to access these kinds of information at home. If there is an improvement, I would like the app to spit out my body fat % and skeletal muscle mass % into lbs. I manually calculate them so it’s a bit of a hassle, but not the worst thing.I hope this review helps others!

Ich habe diese Waage zusammen mit dem Fitnesstracker Huawei Band 2 Pro gekauft, um meine Leistung und mein Gewicht regelmäßig zu kontrollieren und so meine Fortschritte im Kampf gegen die Kilos aufzuzeichnen. Diese Waage ist hierfür das perfekte Produkt: es beschränkt sich an sich zunächst erstmal auf seine Standardfunktionen, das Erfassen des Gewichts. Mit Sensoren misst bzw. kalkuliert es weitere Werte, z.B. den Body-Mass-Index (BMI), den Körperfettanteil (in %), das fettfreie Körpergewicht (in kg), der Körperwasseranteil (in %), der Skelettmuskelanteil (in %), die Muskelmasse (in kg), die Knochenmasse (in kg), der Proteinanteil (in %), der tägliche Grundumsatz (in kcal), sowie anhand dieser Werte das biologische Alter (in Jahren). Zur Erfassung bzw. Kalkulierung dieser Werte nutzt es den gemessenen Körperwiderstand (via bioelektrischer Impedanz).Neben dieser Fülle an Werten ist der wahre Vorteil jedoch, dass die Waage diese Werte via Bluetooth ans Smartphone sendet und dort im RENPHO-App speichert. Dort kann man sich ein Gewichtsziel setzen und langfristig das eigene Gewicht verfolgen, Trends sehen und bei negativen Entwicklungen (z.B. typisch für Weihnachten 😉 ) gegensteuern.Zusätzlich kann die Waage automatisch zwischen bis zu 8 unterschiedlichen Personen unterscheiden. Die Daten kann man über eine Schnittstelle an Google Fit oder FitBit weiterleiten um so z.B. innerhalb von Google Fit ein umfassende Daten-, Leistungs- und Fortschrittskompilation zu haben.Ich hatte keinerlei Probleme mit der Waage, alles hat von Anfang an funktioniert (die Waage kommt jedoch unaufgeladen, sie muss also zunächst einmal aufgeladen werden).Eine Empfehlung, die ich hier nun geben möchte ist, dass wenn man die Waage mit einem Fitnesstracker und anderen Equipment kombinieren möchte, dann wäre es evtl. von Vorteil, dass man sich direkt Hardware zulegt, welche durch selben oder zumindest kooperierenden Hersteller direkt integriert sind, und nicht über ein Dritt-App wie Google Fit zusammengeführt wird. Z.B. da ich ein Huawei Band 2 Pro Fitnesstracker habe hätte ich mir evtl. auch die Huawei Waage zulegen sollen. Da Google Fit jedoch auch als durchaus nützliches Fitness-App zwischengeschaltet werden kann (oder muss) ist dies nicht zwangsweite schlecht, solange die Daten denn problemlos übermittelt werden. In dieser Hinsicht arbeitet die RENPHO-Waage jedoch perfekt.
