Not what I expected, but not bad.
INTRODUCTIONI’m not a Nano expert. I am a home user who wants nice skin. I once tried a microneedle rolller and then a stamp. I thought the powered tools would go deeper to increase collagen. I didn’t understand that Nano needles are superficial and will not go deep enough to build collagen.USAGEIn the box you get the wand, a USB cable and a set of Nano needle cartridges – although there is one extra that says .45 which I have not used yet. Each cartridge is individually wrapped. And according to the instructions is sterile, however, I dip mine in alcohol before using. The cartridges are disposable and meant to be discarded after each use.The first time I used the pen, I didn’t apply any serum first. I ran the pen over dry skin and after a few minutes there were flakes of skin flying all over my shirt and later I realized they were also wedged inside the cartridge. So I can say it was a success. It didn’t hurt. It just feels like a scratchy comb running across the skin. The Nano needs do not puncture the skin, they simply irritate the surface skin. You can adjust the depth on the pen, but it still doesn’t go very deep.If you are brand new to Nano microneedling, there is an instruction manual that is very poorly written. I’m sure it was run through a translator into English and most of it doesn’t make sense. My recommendation is to find a few videos online of people explaining how to use the pens.SUMMARYAlthough I misunderstood that this pen would help boost the collagen in my skin, it still gives me a good surface polish and my skin is clearly improved after each use. I plan to purchase additional cartridges and keep using this pen.

As a first-time user, I started at a depth of 0.5 mm and gradually increased to 1.5 mm for noticeable results. I will continue experimenting with depth and speed settings.The pen is well-balanced, comfortable to hold, and feels solidly constructed.Overall, this pen is a suitable option for beginners and is reasonably priced at $59.99. However, the instructions require significant improvement, as they are currently inadequate.
