• Salicylic Acid 2%, 10%, 20% and 30% are safe for all skin tones.
• New Peel users should start with Salicylic Acid 10% or 20% and work their way up to 30%.
• Do not reapply any Peel until at least 3-4 weeks from initial application.
• One bottle yields 5-7 applications.
BEFORE YOUR PEEL
Prep the skin for at least a week prior to Peel application with a daily exfoliator such as MedPeel Salicylic Acid 2% Daily Exfoliator.
AFTER YOUR PEEL
Generously apply MedPeel Hyaluronic Serum as needed. Use a minimum of broad-spectrum SPF 30 everyday to protect your skin. After 2 weeks, begin using MedPeel Salicylic Acid 2% Daily Exfoliator in between peels for long lasting results.
WARNING: DO NOT USE A CHEMICAL PEEL IF:
• You are currently taking Accutane or have done so within the past twelve months
• You are pregnant or nursing
• You have a tendency to form keloid scars
• You are undergoing cancer treatments, including chemotherapy and/or radiation
• You do not understand the process of a peel, are not willing to follow the post peel regime, or do not take the time to properly educate yourself about which solution should be used
• You expect a miracle. Most chemical peels are designed to be a progressive treatment and need multiple applications to achieve a goal
• You have been treated with a hair-removal system in the past two days
SALICYLIC PEELING PROCESS
Salicylic 30% peel – moderate downtime. Typically the skin will peel mild to moderately on day 4 or 5 and last about 4-7 days. The skin may turn red during application and can be red or pink a few hours/ days following the peel. You may experience frosting with this peel that may result in darkened areas on the face which will peel off and fade. You can resume to normal exfoliation after one week.
Salicylic 20% peel – mild to moderate downtime. Typically you will see some light to medium peeling and some areas of the skin may frost ( turning a white / off-white color) during application. It is common for frosted areas to darken before peeling off. The peeling typically starts on day 4 or 5. You can resume to normal exfoliation after one week.
Salicylic 10% peel – mild little to no downtime. During the application you may experience slight redness and burning but will subside after application. You may see some light peeling/flaking starting on day 4 or 5 and can last approximately 4-7 days.
There are no U.S. laws or regulations that require cosmetics to have specific shelf lives or have expiration dates on their labels, but there is a time frame for when they should be used after opening. We recommend using the product 90 days after opening maximum. Unopened and kept in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, some products can last up to 2 years. While using older products may not cause an adverse reaction, the product may have lost some potency and may not be as effective as a newer, fresher product.

Product worked
I used this 10% Peel exactly as prescribed. I let it sit on my skin for 4 minutes and immediately neutralized my skin. I now have 3 significant hyper pigmentation on my face. I am light skinned. This didn’t work for me. And I hope in my near future the spots disappear.I wrote my first review too soon. I wanted to write an updated review. 12/9/25The 3 dark brown spots did resolve in 12 days, to reveal a much more even skin tone.

This stuff works if done correctly
This is a great product—comparable to the quality you’d get at a med spa. A few musts from my experience: don’t leave it on for more than a couple of minutes since it’s quite strong, use it no more than once a week, and always moisturize afterward (and consistently afterward), otherwise your skin may peel or become irritated. When used correctly, the results truly speak for themselves.

Did not work for me
I was recommended salicylic acid by a dermatologist for keratosis pilaris on my arms. The solution is hard to apply, given the pump nozzle spritzes everywhere and leaks. The instructions recommend starting with 3 minutes but I left it on for the longest recommended time which was 10 minutes. It did not sting, and dried very quickly. Stinks to high heaven but it’s a chemical so I expected that. After applying I sprayed my hands with the neutralizer and washed them as the bottle had leaked all over. Then I completed the process on my arms. It hardly frosted, and now nearly a week later I have no change to my skin, except where it leaked onto my hands. They are rough and peeling. I suppose they could use the rejuvenation but not what I bought the bottle for, it’s proof that it works though even though that’s not where I wanted it. I’m going to reorder but this time exfoliate for a week or so before to help the solution penetrate my skin.If you do buy, I’d leave it on for much longer than it recommends (maybe 20 minutes?), and definitely wear gloves. Hopefully you have better luck than me!After hearing of my troubles, the company immediately reached out with a full refund and asked for more details so they could better their product and customer experience. While my first attempt didn’t work well for me, I greatly appreciate a company trying to make it right!

A chemical peel that works!
On April 9th I did a test of the product and applied it for 2 mins, there was a little tingling so i removed it using the neutralizer (you can buy separately). No peeling and no indication of irritation occurred.I was super excited to use the product and maybe it was too soon but I gave it another go on April 12th. I applied it as directed for 5 minutes. The tingling sensation turned into a slight burn but by fanning my face, the burn disappeared. I then used the neutralizer and removed the product as directed.Here we are 2 days later and I’m peeling in certain areas of my face and am so excited to see results soon. It feels just like a professional chemical peel done at a dermatology office.I will be following directions and using this product once a month now. But I am so happy to finally find a chemical peel that works!

Potent
I have been using various at home peels for years so I have had plenty of peeling experience. I switched from a 20% SA peel from a different brand to this peel, which was the only 30% peel I could find and holy moly it’s some strong stuff. I’m guessing the 20% peel from the other brand wasn’t as good quality as this brand because I wouldn’t think there would be such a jump from 20 to 30 percent. So 5 stars for probably melting my face off if I left it on for longer than like 30 seconds.

I’m not the biggest fan of the consistency simply because it’s not what I’m used to, however, it does the job and is noticeably stronger than 20 percent. My preference is another brand that’s a lot thicker because u have way more control. This manipulated like water. 4-5 stars for its peeling ability and 1 for texture overall 3.
