For over 10 years I’ve been faithful to Paula’s Choice Resist Ultra Light Wrinkle Defense SPF 30 (…can the name of a single product get any longer lol?!). Without a doubt, that formula has changed a few times within that decade, most notably, it began to stay sticky/tacky on my skin and within a few hours, despite going on with a pink hue, it would oxidize and make my skin look orange and overall like a big oil slick. I was no longer happy with a company I had supported for a big portion of my life to assist with my skincare.I realized it was long overdue for me to reassess the market for a MUCH better product that not only remained true to its initial application but also offered a more significant level of protection.I have naturally oily skin. I knew what I needed in a sunscreen.1. Must be matte without being drying2. Must be at least 40 SPF and be broad3. Must NOT oxidize/be orange4. Must not feel heavy, greasy, sticky, oily hours after applying5. Must be cost effective6. Must be tinted in a neutral blurring effect color as I wear these as my “makeup” onlyI can say that I researched this and many other sunscreens. I read suggestions on reddit. I watched reviews on Youtube. I read countless reviews & looked at photos on Amazon. I had it narrowed down to this, TiZO, and ColorScience. My determining factors that ultimately had me try this one first? Colorscience appeared too “dewy”, shiny, glossy for me. In many reviews people’s faces looked greasy to me. Easy pass despite the appealing color options. Next & the toughest determiner was between this and TiZO. Texture and finish on both seemed nearly the same, save for maybe the color/coverage slightly. I wasn’t sure between TiZO 3, TiZO A.M. and this. Ultimately it came down to price. Ingredients in both were mostly great, but if I was looking for a long-term HG replacement, it needed to be economically sustainable for me. So I went with the cheaper of the 2 first. If I didn’t like it, then I had a fallback.Let me say, upon the first use, I was sold. It’s everything everyone else says it is. It is smooth, silky, lightly pigmented, lightweight, and blends flawlessly. The color does not oxidize – I was waiting, I checked hours later and then at the end of the day. It was beautiful, I was in love! Like this was a literal game/life changer for me after coming from my long held dedication to something that had been slowly turning me into an oompa loompa, unknowingly (actually I had no sunscreens could oxidize until I read it from another reviewer here, thank you to that person!).I will never go back to PC. This tinted sunscreen is my everything now, the look, feel, protection, staying power, price… everything! You have a new customer & promoter for life if you remain true to your ingredients & product formulation.***My ONLY qualm & it’s minor, would be the cap. I wish, as I’ve seen in older reviews, that it still contained the flat, broad, wider white cap. This is an insignificant preference and has nothing to do with the product itself, just the ease of standing the packaging upright. But I also understand that marketing & waste likely factor into the cap change. As long as the formula remains the same, I don’t so much mind the package aesthetics.***

Best sunscreen I ever used ! Nice finish and tint that makes my skin look better.
This sunscreen is perfect, it is more of a cream than a liquid lotion and it is not shiny.It has a mat finish and It blends in with my lightly tanned skin perfectly. No scent.It’s a little expensive considering the small quantity and the tube cannot stand upright,but other than that it is an amazing sunscreen that actually makes my skin look better.
