I got some pretty good results from a red light belt and also a box device over a few years but eventually the led’s began to burn out. I was going to repurchase from the same company but decided at the last minute to look around. I found cosytime but was skeptical because the irradiance was higher and the price was something like 30% of the original company’s replacement cost for their upgraded model. Red light therapy is important to my health and well being but I was confident of amazon 30 day refund policy so I gave cosytime a go.I have the 35 x 17 mat and the 26 x 13 for areas that are more easily reached with the smaller unit. Previously, I used the box for pain relief and the belt just because it was so easy to use but unfortunately just did not have enough irradiance to get the job done properly.My new red light belts are superior in every sense of the word and basically eliminate any need for a box as far as I am concerned. The new belts control the substantial arthritic pain in my knees, hips and back etc. much better than before (knock on wood) and I don’t have to use it as often and still get better results.I have had restless leg syndrome for a few years that really bothered me in the evening while watching tv. I used the old box every once in a while on the back of the legs that provided some relief. The new belt is in an elevated category. At first I used it every 2 or 3 nights that helped me forget about the creepy feeling for a night or two til the next 10 minute session was needed as soon as I noticed the slightest twitch. Recently the time intervals are widening. Both legs can be done at the same time: Start by placing mat at the inside of one calf and then come around the bottom of both calves wrapping it to end at inside of other leg. I use the 5 setting.I have waited a few weeks of use before giving a review. I am very happy and more than satisfied with the overall results. Customer service is excellent as they cleared up some original confusion over product. This will be my new go to company for red light products.I am pointing out how the red light has affected me and no advice intended or given as I have no medical training.

Highly recommend especially for surgical scars!
5 weeks ago from today I had underwent a spinal fusion surgery and they went through my stomach. I was left with a nasty ugly scar. Neurosurgeons don’t leave nice looking incisions like plastic surgeons do. He left me butchered! My staples were removed 2 weeks ago today. Here is what only 5 sessions with this red light therapy pad has done so far. I am almost 46 years old. This therapy pad is amazing and only does so well because it has the infrared technology and a high number of LED red lights to allow it to penetrate deep way beyond the surface tissue. I still have a solid 10 plus months of healing for the fusion but my stomach muscles and skin are definitely advancing in healing because of this red light pad. I love it and am looking forward to continuing my therapy with it. I highly recommend!

I Searched the Internet for “Red Light Therapy, Therapeutic or Quackery?”. Surprising Results!
I’m in my 70’s and experience minor lower back pain from time to time. I didn’t know anything about red light therapy other than seeing the advertisements for the face masks for women. When I saw this item, I was curious about the possibility of it being effective for my back. After reviewing positive results obtained from my online search, I decided to give the item a try.The instructions recommend a trial session to check for sensitivity, which I did with no ill effects. The next thing I did was try it out as recommended in the instructions. I will say that it did have a positive therapeutic effect; after a few days of 10-minute-a-day treatment, my back did feel better. I do not use it every day, but have from time to time used it again on my back since I got it, and have felt better. Recently, I smashed my finger and it was quite painful the first few days. I put my injured hand under the red lights, and will say that after two or three days of 10-minute-a-day treatment, it too felt better with no medication.There are numerous settings and combinations of wavelength and intensity. However, all I have ever done is turn it on to the first 10-minute setting on the remote and experience whatever that first setting does. I do plan on learning more about red light therapy and this particular device, but for now I am happy with it “right out of the box”.I ordered the 26” x 13” pad, and have to honestly say that it is a bit cumbersome to wrap around my lower back. I also tried it once on a stiff neck, and that was even more of a challenge due to its size. The materials, design and construction of the item are of very good quality. It comes with a storage case. I did find the instructions vague on if it needs to be on bare skin, but because it is light, after all, that’s what I do. The problem that arises is the cold plastic covering the lights. Very uncomfortable, but easily fixed in a minute two under the hair dryer. The lights themselves barely get warm during use, nothing like the old-style heating pads. The price when I ordered was $89.99. I consider it a fair value at that price because of the quality and most importantly, it did work for me.

Really awesome Red Light Therapy Pad
I have been wanting to try out these new red light therapy devices for my lower back pain and hip pain. I settled on this one as it had all the characteristics I was looking for. The value was right, and it looked easy to use. I read the comments concerning the irradiance of the lights, but as I look looked more into the brand’s information on the product, it relieved my concerns. The item came nicely packed with clear instructions explaining the different options….I have been trying this therapy pad for about a week and a half now and I really like how comfortable it is. I definitely feel the warmth of the lights and how strong it feels like while penetrating my skin to get to those sore muscles of mine. So far, It’s giving me some relief and it effectiveness in managing my pain. Really happy I chose this particular therapy pad!!
