ELITE MINERAL SUNSCREEN
Cerave really did their big one with this spf. It has the texture of a serum, Korean chemical spf which is insane for a mineral sunscreen with spf 50 with around 18% sunscreen actives. It’s soooo lightweight, hydrating, not chalky, blends in seamlessly and on my skin tone is virtually invisible. The only people who might not like this is maybe really oily skin because it’s quite glowy but then again this could function as a moisturizer and spf in one. For me with dry skin I layer this over a moisturizer. It’s ELITEEEEEE and the price on Amazon is insane.

My skin loves it. No white cast, feels very light, skin feels hydrated, easy to absorb. Almost no smell. I have tan skin tone. I have combination skin (oily on my cheeks and a bit dry in the mouth/nose/ forehead areas) It gives me a bit of a sheer look. Hopefully it will be the right one for you too.

Better than Korean sunscreens!
Is this the first drugstore mineral sunscreen that performs better than Korean sunscreen? Yes!!! This is lightweight, ultra hydrating, and doesn’t leave a white cast. It doesn’t sting the eyes and doesn’t break you out. I’m in love! This has replaced all my sunscreens. It’s elegant like Korean sunscreen. I use under makeup as my moisturizer, primer, and sunscreen! My older skin can’t handle too much product under makeup or it cakes up. This is all in one for my dry combo skin.

Unpleasant smell when first applied
I am wearing this daily to help with protecting a surgical scar on my face. It is my only experience with a mineral sunscreen. I couldn’t find a similar product locally. I love how easily it is to apply. It does not leave embarrassing white patches or rub off on clothing. It hasn’t run in my eyes. I have successfully applied foundation over it. I appreciate that it doesn’t have any added fragrances. However, when I first apply this, it has a distinctly unpleasant smell. It is best described in polite company as digested organic matter. The distinctive smell seems to fade, and hopefully no one else notices it. Still it is gross enough that if you have a chance to compare this product with other mineral sunscreens in a store, I would. (update: I found that shaking it really well before each use seems to have solved the odor issue)

Love this sunscreen!
I love this sunscreen! I’ve been looking for a physical sunscreen that (1) isn’t wildly expensive and (2) doesn’t leave a white cast, and this checks both boxes! I felt that with other, more expensive sunscreens, I wasn’t applying enough because I wanted it to last longer, which defeats the purpose of using sunscreen. This is at a great price point. It goes on so smooth and leaves no white cast. It actually makes my skin a little shiny right after applying, but that goes away after a couple minutes. Highly recommend!

Amazing
I had to come here and share this review because I sincerely love this sunscreen so much and I’ve already purchased it twice.It is the only one I’ll use anymore. I have tried other sunscreens- Korean skincare, mineral, sensitive skin- you name it I’ve probably tried it.This one is amazing. Not only does it actually protect my skin and keep me from skin damage on my face, it goes on evenly and smoothly. It makes my skin look really good after application as well. It works great under makeup and I always feel like I look more fresh and healthy when I’m wearing it. I don’t even feel like wearing foundation over it because of how good it makes my face look. I’ll put a cream blush over it still and it lasts all day. It’s actually something I look forward to using everyday in my morning routine. And it’s absolutely invisible- no white cast. One thing I have noticed is that when I have it on and I’ve been sweating, I can kind of see a different sheen on my face than if I didn’t put it on before a big workout. But I think that’s a good thing because it shows it’s still there even after a sweaty exercise, and it’s only in certain lighting. Not an issue whatsoever for me.

The bad smell is not normal
The formula is amazing. It has a light feel and no white cast on my type 3 skin. The one I bought from Amazon had an unbearable smell like stinky feet or old cheese. So I also purchased the same product at a drug store and it was not smelly at all! It only had a very light chemical smell. The terrible smell is not normal. It must have a bad batch or storing issue.

Finally, a truly invisible mineral sunscreen
This is the best mineral sunscreen I’ve tried. Most untinted mineral sunscreens that claim to be “sheer” or “invisible” still leave a noticeable white cast. This is the first one that genuinely blends in.Because of this, you can actually apply the recommended two finger lengths without fear of looking gray or chalky. When I saw the ads claiming it blends in even on stubble, I was skeptical—but it’s completely true. It disappears on all skin textures.The formula doesn’t pill, even if you’re a day or two away from your most recent exfoliation, though your skin does need to be well-moisturized for the best application. It’s also not drying like typical mineral sunscreens, which often leave skin feeling tight and parched.The only drawback is that it’s not waterproof, so it won’t work for swimming or heavy sweating. But for the price and quality, this is definitely one I’ll order again.
