Good compact, light redlight + infrared unit with great customer service
This is a great quality build red light therapy that offers the full range of red light and near infrared light to cover all the use cases you need. Also a big shoutout to their great customer service for helping me to resolve an issue quickly and with no fuss!If you haven’t heard about red light/infrared therapy, it’s supposed to produce a wavelength that helps from skin, muscle, and joint rejuvenation and recovery. What I got is the B200 version which is their compact 40-light offering. The compact version makes sense if you’re just wanting to target certain areas, something light and easy to carry around (don’t underestimate this as some of the others are heavy to carry around and you worry you might drop it and break it), or if you want to get into the red light therapy ecosystem at a lower price point. In terms of accessories, it comes w/ no-see eye goggles to protect your eyes. It can stand well on its own, but it has a photo frame like stand where you can extend it and lean the unit. It also has a solid handle which makes it easy to carry the unit around. This build is solid in that’s it’s all steel and no plastic.The manual gives you ideas on how to use it and what benefits you get from either using the infrared or the red light. I just use both as I don’t see anything that says you can’t get all the benefit at once or that one cancels out the other, so I’d rather save time.The unit is very easy to use. Just flip the power button on in the back, choose your mode (red light only, infrared only, or both), use the + and – to change the duration, and then hit the play button to turn it on. I’ve used other units that just turn on immediately and sometimes you can get hit in the eye with the bright light when you’re unprepared, so I really appreciate this unit only turning on when you’re done with your configuration and ready to start. The light is powerful and the unit runs very cool even with the fan running whisper quiet. You can see the different red-light wavelengths with some lights being darker red and some more amber red. Again, another contrast to other units I’ve used that sound fairly loud with the fan running so fast. After a 30-minute session, the back remains cool and only the lights remain briefly warm.It’s going to be hard to say the effects as I think it’ll take a long time, but everything looks pretty good here and this is a good option for a red light + infrared device ‘m planning to continue to incorporate this as a regular routine for sleep and aches/pains.Lastly, I mentioned they have great customer service that helped me with an issue promptly and they offer an amazing 3-year warranty, which means they really stand behind their product. I have no hesitation in recommending this unit.

So far I love it
This review is for WEIVIRED brand Red Light Therapy Panel in the 40 Dual Chip LED size (smallest size). It came with goggles and a power cord.So far this panel has been fantastic and easy to use. I’ve only been using it a week, so I can’t speak to results, but I’ll update my review in 1-2 months to add results thoughts. I’m using it about 6” away and starting at 3 minutes a session, because I have annoyingly sensitive and reactive skin and I don’t want to trigger a sensitization to red light. (Eventually I plan to move up to 10 minute sessions.) The light doesn’t feel hot to me, and the casing doesn’t get hot either.The casing is made of metal, and it’s heavy, which makes it feel high-quality. It can sit upright on its bottom, as the bottom is flat, but also has a picture frame-style kickstand in the back—the latter is what I use when irradiating my face. I place the panel on the coffee table while I sit on the couch, and I tilt the kickstand so the light shines up directly onto my face and neck. For irradiating the top of my head, I don’t use the kickstand but place the panel upright on the floor, while I lie on the floor in front of it.There’s an on/off toggle switch in the back, which turns on the fan and the display. This allows you to select desired options (red light, infrared, or both) and time (1-30 minutes) with the light off. The fan is super quiet: 36 decibels 4 inches away. (I used the NIOSH SLM iPhone app.)The red light is very bright. Like, shockingly and painfully bright to the eyes. You’ll want to set up your options, know where the start button is, don the goggles, and then hit the start button by feel. At first I tried hitting the start button, then closing my eyes while donning the goggles—I do not recommend this. This is some very serious light. Even with the goggles on, my eyeballs feel a bit uncomfortable afterwards, so I will be looking into buying additional eye protection to wear over the goggles. Also, I always close the dog up in a different room so it doesn’t damage her eyes either.The near infrared (NIR) light is not visible, so the manual says the goggles aren’t needed. I’ve been using red and NIR together, though, so I use the goggles.Just a disclaimer: I tried testing the light to confirm the wavelengths, using a spectrometer iPhone app; however, I’ve learned that any phone’s camera is too limited to be of much use in this situation. It was able to confirm that yes, the panel puts out red light between 610 and 750 nanometers, but it’s unable to measure NIR at all. This brand is new to market, so I wasn’t able to find any professional reviewers online who have tested this panel with a real spectrometer (a very expensive piece of equipment). Given the quality of the build and the confirmation of the red light range via my phone app, I’m comfortable using this small panel without third-party verification, but I’ll probably wait for third-party testing to become available before investing in the most expensive full-length panel.
