Next best thing to a professional treatment
This is heavy duty therapy!Pros: First off, the housing is metal and very well made. The settings panel on the side has good feedback under your fingers, so there is no guessing if the button is responding to your input. It has a digital display that is clear and easy to read so you can see the timer when you select a specific time and the wavelengths used in your session. There is Red light and NIR (Near Infrared) lights for different treatments. If you start this out of the box, use care that this is on the lowest setting to start if you just using it for regular red light treatments. If you’re using it for tissue recovery, please make sure your do your research. Look for the level of NIR or Red light that will help specifically for recovery not just for your face, but your other body parts as well (common ones include knees, arms, ankles, etc). It does work, if at the correct setting. It cools itself with a built-in fan. This will allow you to use this for longer periods of time without overheating the unit.Cons: This can be hung, and while the hanging kit is robust, there aren’t real instructions on how to hang it. In either case, be cautious when hanging. If you are using the door hanger, make sure to secure it so it doesn’t swing too much to protect the unit.Overall grade: A+ = This is the next best thing to a professional treatment in a spa. It’s versatile enough to use on your face and body. Do your research! If you’re doing this for the first time, here are some common sense guidelines: Start slow and low. Use lower settings and fewer frequency and build up. Make sure you’re using the glasses. This is a powerful machine, it can really hurt your eyes if you’re not protecting yourself. Keep your distance: don’t put your face too close as it may be uncomfortable or cause skin irritation. As mentioned earlier, ease your way in. If you have any discomfort, consult your physician and let them know you’re doing red light therapy. There are some medications where red light therapy is NOT recommended. Check with your doctor before you dive into the deep end of this therapy.

Well Built Red Light
I wanted to try this out after seeing so many spas and health professionals offer Red Light Therapy for a variety of potential uses.This unit seemed well-made and ready to use, straight out of the box. It’s sturdy and simple. Turn it on, get ready for intense light, and set the timer. Luckily this comes with eye protection, because the lights are VERY bright.Since it’s not possible to see the controls with the unit turned on, made sure to read and understand the user manual so I could operate it with the timer function. The buttons are flat/flush, it was awkward to feel the difference between the buttons and control them while wearing the eye protection. The remote is helpful, but still a challenge to operate with eye protection.This is a fairly large red light array….and in addition to the built-in stand, it also includes sturdy cables and hardware for hanging and over-door placement.
