A full body red light therapy blanket which helps muscles to recover.
Many people might not be familiar with red light therapy. Red light therapy works at a wavelength of light which has been shown to promote recovery of the body. Most red light therapy devices usually only target a small portion of the body, like neck, knee, lumbar spine…etc. I was looking for a device which covers the entire body. This is that device. The device is a full body pad measuring 71″x 31″. It is easy to set up. The design is simple. It is basically a large beach blanket which has red light bulbs lining the outside. There is a remote control to operate the blanket. It is comfortable to lay in but I wouldn’t recommend sleeping on it. I only used the blanket for 30 minutes at a time to limit exposure to the light. In my experience, using it for longer than 30 minute per session doesn’t improve the pain relief. In fact, I believe too much exposure is harmful. I also recommend that people using a blindfold when using the pad since exposing the eyes to the light may damage them. Overall, I find the device to be effective and the quality to be above average. This would be a “soft buy” recommendation. I would recommend new users to purchase a smaller red light device and, if they find that it helps then it maybe worth it to invest in a much larger device.

Easy to use and surprisingly comfortable
This product arrived on time. I have been using this red light mat on and off for the last few months, and I will say that it is easy to use. I highly recommend you read the instructions and adhere to the safety features. The mat itself is lightweight and sturdy. It can be rolled up and stored between uses. So far, I have felt very comfortable using this red light mat and feel there is good value for the money spent.

Excellent red light therapy mat
This is an excellent red light therapy mat. It is a little on the expensive side, but compared to some other red light therapy devices I have, the quality is significantly higher, so you do get what you pay for. It is well made from high quality materials and includes everything you need to get started. It is also quite large, I am 6′ stall and it can reach most of my body with ease. The controls are intuitive and easy to use, which include power on/off, light wavelength and timer settings. The build quality is excellent, and I have no fears about breaking it when lying down or sitting on the mat. It is also very easy to clean, as it can just be wiped down with a cloth. Probably the only negative I can think of is that it had a somewhat strong plastic smell at first, but that went away pretty quickly. If you’re looking for a red light therapy device that is for full body coverage, this is an excellent product!

User friendly, bright, and comfortable red light mat
After a month of dedicated use I find this red light therapy mat to be user friendly, easy to clean, and fairly comfortable as it can be placed on a bed, sofa, or anywhere you like. It has 3 modes, steady light, visible pulsing, and invisible pulsing. As the lights are REALLY bright I find the pulsing mode difficult to relax with, so I use the steady mode. It doesn’t get hot, maybe slightly warm because of the plastic material. Controller is on a cord that stays connected. Comes with the recommended dark glasses, eye protection is essential. You can control the length of your therapy session and work up to longer and longer periods on the mat.At this point I can’t speak to any noticeable benefits of this red light mat but I intend to continue using it. I like to use this post- workout and shower. It’s definitely relaxing. I am 5’5, my husband is 6′ exactly. The mat is plenty long enough to give us full body light coverage.In my opinion this is expensive for what you get in terms of possible benefits. That said, the mat itself is quite sturdy with loads of lights. The controls are easy to understand and operate. The mat is easy to roll up and store when not in use.

Great pad
I was so happy to get to try this out. I get restless legs and leg cramps frequently and so I was hoping this would help out. When you first lay on it prepared to be cold. The plastic can be cold at first. I now have a routine for when I am going to use it. I lay it on my side of my king size bed (fits perfectly), if I am wanting to use it quicker and not be cold I put a heated blanket on it and cover with my regular bedding and give it a few minutes. Then I get in. If I have a few minutes to allow it to get warm on it’s own, I just omit the heated blanket. It does warm up and feels good. It a little weird to move around on as your skin doesn’t move that easily on the plastic but I mostly lay still. Last night after a hot bath my legs were still bothering me so I laid on this. I ended up falling asleep on it and sleeping through the night. It has a timer so it was only on 90 minutes. Not sure how long I was awake. My husband doesn’t believe these type of things work. After multiple days of a sore knee/leg I talked him into trying it. He didn’t think it affected much that day but said the next day it felt better. So now he will occasionally using it instead of just writing it off as fake. Nice quality mat.
